Colombo, Sri Lanka
It is possible to take a quick tour to Colombo Sri Lanka if you are looking for an exotic island paradise in the Indian Ocean. Plan for at least five days for your whirlwind trip. You may have to deal with jetlag and pack in as much as possible in 36 hours or two full days, not including round trip flight times.

21 miles from the city of Colombo. The best way to fly into Colombo from the United States is through Qatar Airlines.
