Cabos San Lucas
Cabos San Lucas or Cabo is just a two hour 20 minute flight from Los Angeles with six non-stop flights. According to VisitMexico.com, from December to March each year Cabo witnesses the migration of hundreds of whales from the Arctic to the Baja Peninsula. They complete their migration by late December and stay until late March before starting their journey northward.

Located in the Caribbean coast of Colombia, Cartagena receives an average of 2,800 hours of sunshine per year. According to UNESCO, Cartagena had the most extensive and complete systems of military fortifications in South America.
